Coastal cement carriers are vessels engaged in transporting cement from cement plants to distribution stations located throughout Japan.

We build an average of one cement carrier every three years, which is not a large number compared to container carriers or gas carriers. However, each of our cement carriers is a unique product that fully demonstrates our advanced technology and design capabilities.

Technical highlights include Kyokuyo's internationally-patented SSS-BOW, special fins and rudders to improve propulsion efficiency, automated ship control and cargo handling operations, machinery monitoring from shore, and complex load/unload systems to satisfy the cargo owner's requirements, just to name a few.
