GROUND-BREAKING 'FULL' REEFER CONTAINER CARRIER

Since the transportation of reefer containers involves the problem of heat exhaust, normal container ships usually load reefer containers only on deck or on hatch covers, while normal containers are loaded in the holds.

However, COSCO, the shipping giant that had ordered many vessels from us, gave us a homework assignment : to design 400TEU ships transporting refrigerated containers exclusively, with reefer plugs installed for all containers loaded in holds, too.

Based on the technology we had cultivated through basic research and the development of reefer vessels, we developed a new air supply and exhaust system in the hold for this project. Through repeated testing and verification, we were able to satisfy our customer's very hot expectations for these refrigerated container carriers.

It was also our great pleasure that this three-ship series attracted worldwide attention as an epoch-making vessels unparalleled in the world.
