7,000M³ Ammonia-loadable Semi-ref Gas Carrier

PGC TAORMINA is Kyokuyo's first semi-refrigerated LPG carrier. She is the third in a series of four ships ordered by Paradise Gas Carriers, bright and cheerful people from Greece.

Ships are expensive products. Contract signings often take place in a chic conference room with the participants, including some lawyers, all wearing dark suits. In this case however, we were all in short pants when the signing was made in the sun-drenched, lovely island of Mykonos, the gem of the Mediterranean.

This vessel is a 7,000m3 semi-ref type, based on our 7,500m3 pressurized type hull. She can transport a wider range of cargoes, including anhydrous ammonia.
