Another 831TEU type container carrier, S-452, was launched at our dockyard on March 9, 2004. She is "middle daughter" among the 3 sisters ordered by SITC Maritime (Group) Co., Ltd., international liner operator based on Shandong Province of China.

In the soft air with lovely spring warmth, the vessel looked impressively powerful. When Mr. Wang, superintendent sent by the owner, cut the cord that had tied her with the land, multicolored decorative banners dropped from the her body painted in brilliant blue. It was a riot of colors of our flowers, in our own garden!

Then, it was the turn of the youngest sister. We proceeded to the block assembly factory to celebrate the keel-laying of S-453. Just starting to be built, she would have blossomed in several months, like her elder sisters.

We wish the sister a bright and prosperous future.
