On January 9, Kyokuyo Shipyard Corporation was selected for the Japanese government's "Project to Promote the Construction of Zero-Emission Ships."
Kyokuyo Shipyard Corporation, in collaboration with Uyeno Transtech Ltd. and Izumi Steel Works, Ltd. , has received Approval in Principle (AiP) from ClassNK for the design of a deep-cooled ammonia carrier equipped with two 6,000m3 semi-refrigerated tanks, with a total capacity of 12,000m3.
Three months have passed since the June litter picking, and now it's time for "Autumn Marine Litter Zero Week". We, being a member of the Cooperative Association of Japan Shipbuilders, are taking part in the nationwide effort to clean up marine litter.
The time has come again for the "Marine Litter Zero Week".
On September 22, we participated in a litter-picking activity as part of the "National Autumn Marine Litter Zero Week" nationwide cleanup campaign organized by the Ministry of the Environment and the Nippon Foundation.
On Monday, June 9, 2022, under clear blue skies, 22 of our employees participated in a cleanup activity at a beach in Shimonoseki City.
