Here, you can view all of Kyokuyo's life logs documented over the past 20 years. This is who we are.
On November 20, 2012, we had the naming and delivery ceremonies for S506 container carrier. She and her elder sister S505 are the first ships we have built for SITC since 3.5 years and the 12th and 13th ships since 2000. We would like to heartily thank our longstanding client for their continuous support!
Kyokuyo Shipyard Corporation and its subsidiary Shosen Co., Ltd., are members of a local cooperative business association called "Shimonoseki Zosen Kanren Jigyo Kyodo Kumiai" (Shimonoseki Shipbuilding-related Business Association). One of its main activities since 2004 is the organization of an international trainee program.
Eight years passed since we established with other shipbuilding-related companies a cooperative which, besides operating group purchasing, runs an international training program.
Do you know Kyokuyo set up a cooperative in 2004 with several other companies in shipbuilding industry? In addition to group purchasing, it runs a trainee program, which makes it possible for young Chinese technicians to train in Japan.

Clear weather, warm sunshine and soft sea breeze - it was such a perfect day for celebrating! On December 27, 2003, two ceremonies, one for launching of S-451 and the other for keel-laying of S-452, took place at once in our dockyard.
