Here, you can view all of Kyokuyo's life logs documented over the past 20 years. This is who we are.
Kyokuyo's first newbuilding ceremonies in 2019 were for S-540, 307,000ft3 reefer carrier ordered by Boyang Alaska, S.A. On January 8, Boyang's Chairman, President, Director and Director's beloved daughter came to our factory to celebrate the birth and naming of the new ship.
October 15, 2014 was the day when Kyokuyo delivered S513 to the owner, KSC Shipping S.A.. Just like her elder sister S516, or Heung-A Young, she is a latest example of the builder's 1,103-TEU 'Japanmax' container carrier model and employed by Heung-A Shipping Co., Ltd. of South Korea.
On July 31, 2014, we held the naming and delivery ceremonies for S516, ordered by R&M.HG.WAVE.INC.. The ship is Kyokuyo's latest 'Japanmax' container feeder which has an impressive loading capacity of 1,103TEU with GRT being less than 10,000tons.
On January 23, 2007, we received 38 guests from PuKyong National University (PKNU) of Korea. They are professors and students at PNKU's College of Environmental and Marine Sciences and Technology, visiting Kyokuyo and other places in Japan as part of Pusan-Shimonoseki sister-city exchange activities.
