On September 25th, with the autumnal equinox having passed and the arrival of autumn being felt day by day, the naming and delivery ceremony was held for S570, the fourth ship in the series of 1,096 TEU container carriers.

As with the previous deliveries, the ceremony was attended by guests from NEW GENERAL AVIATION INTERNATIONAL PTE. LTE., the shipowner, and guests from ITOCHU Corporation.

After raising the national flags and presenting a bouquet of flowers, the ship, S570, was named "A ONTAKE" and the rope was cut. When the company flag was changed from Kyokuyo to ITOCHU and then to New General Aviation International, A ONTAKE blew a loud birth whistle.

This vessel marks the completion of the delivery of four vessels in the successive series. Team Kyokuyo will continue to work together as one to combine all our capabilities and strive for further quality improvement.
