NEWS 027 : SEASON'S GREETINGS
A Happy new year! Please accept our sincerest wishes to all of you for a joyous and prosperous new year.
The year that has just passed, 2003, was another eventful year for our company. We successfully delivered 4 vessels, including a product tanker, 2 units of reefers and a cargo boat.
The 16,500tdw type product carrier was a repeat order from Singaporean customer that we could win after the acclaim received by her elder sister. We were so happy to be able to use even more refined technology to build the second tanker.
The two reefers, of 180,000cft and 200,000cft, were both ultra-low-temperature type. I firmly believe that with a rich set of innovative features, these ships can be a benchmark, for years, in building similar frozen fish carriers.
We will be closed from December 30, 2003 to January 4, 2004 for the new year. We wish all of you a happy new year!
The cargo vessel for an Irish shipowner, 13,650tdw type, was indeed a significant milestone for Kyokuyo Shipyard Corporation. In our corporate history, she will be remembered as epoch-making product that has set a new direction to the company.
We are proud and grateful that all the hard and concerted efforts made together by our 5 departments - sales, design, manufacturing, quality-assurance and purchasing, namely - were well rewarded by the highest technical evaluation from every owner.
And this year, we are going further.
In 2004, our dockyard will be running at capacity to build 3 container carriers for Chinese shipowner and some additional cargo vessels. By continuously streamlining and perfecting our technology and efficiency, we are committed to offer the best services and quality products to the customers who have chosen our company.
We, Kyokuyo Shipyard Corporation, will keep sailing the oceans as professional shipyard that can satisfy various requirements and international standards from across the globe. Your continued support will be greatly appreciated.
