The ship, S556, was a container carrier able to load up to 1,096TEU, which we built for TVL Marine Co., Ltd. More than 30 guests, including TVL Chairman Mr. Lee Chien-fa and his wife Ms. Yu Shu-chuan, and its Executive Director Mr. Lee Chung-hang and his family, came to attend the event.

The ceremony sponsor was Ms. Su Shaw-hwa - she was Senior Vice President of Mega International Commercial Bank - to whom Mr. Ochi, Kyokuyo's President, presented a bouquet of flowers to begin the ceremonies. After the anthems of 3 nations - Republic of China (Taiwan), Korea and Japan - were performed, the sponsor announced the ship's name (TVL Fujian) and her charter name (Sunny Freesia) in Chinese :

It was also Ms. Su who cut the tethering cord and triggered a champagne bottle to smash against the hull of IVL Fujian. And all the people there heard loud bangs! of the firework, for the first time here in the Reiwa era.

The luncheon reception was opened by Mr. Ochi's greeting speech and Mr. Ki Ryong Noh, KMTC's Managing Director took over the microphone. The VIP guests were then invited to 'Kagamibiraki' barrel breaking ceremony. When the fresh sake was distributed in masu - square wooden box - to every attendants, Mr. Lee Chien-fa raised his masu and offered a toast.

As the party was in full blast, the star of the day appeared into the scene at the perfect timing. There was a cheer of delight, as we could enjoy, through wide windows, a nice view of our TVL Fujian which had just left the home yard to start her voyages to the seven seas. The closing speech was presented by Mr. Luan Wen-chin, Vice Chairman of TVL.
