Established in 1942 as Hikoshima Shipbuilding Co., Kyokuyo has earned the world-wide reputation as a quality shipbuilder in the shipping industry. But regionally, we believe the company doesn't receive the recognition that it deserves for a leading local firm operating in Shimonoseki City for more than 70 years.

In this commercial, Kyokuyo's employees introduce their company by turn with their own voices : "The mission is always challenging, but once done, it feels incredible!" "I can get a lot of skills here." "I was really touched when my ship was launched." "No transfer outside Shimonoseki!" etc. etc.

Our aim with this TV commercial is to let locals know better about Kyokuyo Shipyard Corporation. In particular, we hope young students find a potential employer near or within their home town. And if this commercial can help improve the image of the overall shipbuilding industry, we will be more than happy!
