After the flag was raised and the bouquet was presented at the start of the ceremony, the vessel was named "A KAKOGAWA" and the tethers were cut. The ship's whistle blared, and with that sound, the shipowner's company flag was unfurled. In that moment, the ship was reborn as the A KAKOGAWA.
From the outset, Team Kyokuyo has been working together as a unified team for two years on this ambitious project, with the first ship having commenced construction in September 2022.
The shipowner and everyone else involved have provided excellent guidance and cooperation, enabling us to complete the eighth and final ship on schedule. This is a significant achievement, and we are proud of what we have accomplished.
When the project is finished, we at Kyokuyo Shipyard are certain that all eight vessels in the series will operate safely and continue to succeed in the future!
