Kyokuyo's brand-new all-weather blasting factory started its operation in November. This new facility, located adjacently to the existing all-weather block assembly factory, is dedicated to surface preparation of the building blocks just assembled.
The 45th "Kyokuyo Open" golf match was held on October 11, 2005, under crisp autumn sky. This year, a record number of 125 proud players including our customers, suppliers, subcontractors and employees, gathered at Shimonoseki to win the biggest title of the industry (in my opinion)!
On September 25, Kyokuyo delivered a 180,000cft refrigerated cargo carrier, S-461. The vessel, with fish processing equipments installed onboard, is the latest and also a milestone product in our continuing line of ultra-low temperature reefer technologies.
As we reported in News047, the monster typhoon No.18 or Songda, which severely hit Japan in September 2004 reminded us of the saying "providing is preventing".
