The time has come again for the "Marine Litter Zero Week".
On April 3, along with the blooming of the cherry blossoms, eight new employees brought a spring breeze to our company.
On September 22, we participated in a litter-picking activity as part of the "National Autumn Marine Litter Zero Week" nationwide cleanup campaign organized by the Ministry of the Environment and the Nippon Foundation.
On June 30, 2022, nine new employees of Kyokuyo returned to Shimonoseki City after completing three months of training in shipbuilding skills at the Oita Regional Shipbuilding Craftsmanship Center (ORSC, Saiki City, Oita Prefecture).
On Monday, June 9, 2022, under clear blue skies, 22 of our employees participated in a cleanup activity at a beach in Shimonoseki City.
The tugboat NADA MARU, whose launch was reported in news287, was completed and a delivery ceremony was held at Odo Shipbuilding & Engineering Co., Ltd. in Shimonoseki City on April 15.
A feature article titled "Focusing on the GLOBAL NICHE - This is how Kyokuyo lives" appeared in the May 2022 issue of the COMPASS, a bimonthly magazine published by Kaiji Press.
