On October 24, 2012, The 52nd "Kyokuyo Open" golf tournament was held at the famous "Shimonoseki Golf Club", a course with over 50 years of history - like Kyokuyo Open! This annual event is organized by our company to invite our valued customers, suppliers, contractors and other stake holders.
Kyokuyo Shipyard Corporation and its subsidiary Shosen Co., Ltd., are members of a local cooperative business association called "Shimonoseki Zosen Kanren Jigyo Kyodo Kumiai" (Shimonoseki Shipbuilding-related Business Association). On July 1, 2012, we welcomed Matthew Sizemore to fill the role of English teacher at Kyokuyo. Matt, 27, a California-native, will also take care of other English-related services like translation, interpretation and proofreading.
